To truly know Consumera, you must understand the players in this game of food. Consumera is made up of multiple different regions, all distinct from each other, yet they play a role in this ecosystem. We will go over these regions one-by-one.
Offshoot nation of the now deestablished territory of the Grainigans. Have been locked in deep combat with the breads for countless cycles with no end in sight. Due to their close proximity to the Wastelands, toast make up a large majority of C.A.M. forces.
Offshoot nation of the now deestablished territory of the Grainigans. Split off from the toasts many cycles ago due to infighting and have forcibly claimed most of the eastern territory of the toast, gaining enough leverage to be considered as a completely separate territory.
The Botanic Conglomerate is exactly what you would expect. In this land of fruits and veggies, profit takes priority over all else. All denizens must meet their quotas for their companies. All companies answer to Queen Rhubarbara. Your money is Queen Rhubarbara's money
As the youngest and newest leader in Consumera, Queen Rhubarbara made her debut into a statement during the infamous Fort Doughdy incident that lead to the tense relations between the Toast and the Botans. This action commanded respect of all the other nations and cemented the Botans as a powerful force in Consumera.
If they every had a motto, it'd be "Ignorance is bliss". Ask any consumerian and they'll usually consider the Dulcans the laughingstock of Consumera. Dumb as a bag of rocks, and slightly annoying. However, they fill the niche as the leading provider in affordable construction materials. I'd say they have a somewhat competitive market with the Botanic Comglomerate, but I don't think the Dulcans would even be away of this unspoken rivalry. Despite how quick most are to dismiss them, The Dulcan Republic is Consumera's #1 vacation spot.
A Nomadic group of Consumerians composed of flesh and meat. They prefer to keep to themselves in the cold mountainous areas to the far east of Consumera. Tradition is engrained deeply in their culture and there is a common misconception that they are feral and barbaric. This arose from the sheer publicity of the conflict that they have with the Seafolk due to conflicting interperetations of Recipe's words.
Are they really Consumerians, or are they just really intellegent fish? Scholars still ask that question to this day. Regardless, Recipe still loved them all the same. For most of Consumera's time, they stayed secluded in the waters to the northeast of Consumera, but not by choice. Leaving the water for prolonged periods of time causes them to dry out. Naturally, the exact opposite occurs if other Consumerians attempt to enter the waters to come into contact with them. For that reason, they stayed mostly uncontacted until recently when new innovations were made to help them temporarily make landfall. This lead to tensions with the Tribe of Meat.
Goes by numerous names. Some include "The Breadlands","The Cutting Board", "No Man's Land", etc. The region spanning from the direct center of Consumera to the west coast. Inhabited mostly by exiled outlaws, unhoused Consumerians, and Molded. It is generally ill-advised for normal citizens to wander into this zone.
A failed (and frankly foolish) attempt made by the Toasts to defeat both the Molded and the Bread in one fell swoop. In doing so, a large portion of Consumera was gouged out. However this came with the discovery of numerous subteranean tunnels beneath the surface housing countless Molded, as well as several clues and arifacts dating back to the time of Recipe. Although most of the crater is blocked off to the public by every government, that didn't stop many Consumerians from engaging on pilgrimmages to The Crater in order to find relics of Recipe.
